Hello, my name is Eleanor, but everyone calls me Ms. Cookie. I’m originally from Brooklyn, New York, and I’m very close with my daughter and my grandson. Family is extremely important to me, and we enjoy spending time together whenever we can. Now that I’m retired, I love traveling and experiencing different parts of the world with my family. We enjoy making new memories, meeting new people, and learning about different cultures. Hosting international students is something I truly enjoy because it allows us to share our home while also learning about the traditions and experiences of others. Many students say staying with Ms. Cookie feels like having a caring home away from home, where they are welcomed, supported, and treated like part of the family.

Our home is a comfortable four-bedroom, two-bathroom house located in the Tampa area. It provides plenty of space and a relaxed environment where students can feel at home during their stay. We are conveniently located near many popular attractions, including Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island, which are great places to visit and experience while living in Florida. Our home is also in close proximity to Raymond James Stadium, George M. Steinbrenner Field, Tampa International Airport, and Florida’s beautiful Gulf Coast beaches. The location makes it easy for students to enjoy many of the exciting attractions and experiences Tampa has to offer while still having a quiet, welcoming home to return to each day.
