Hello, my name is Eleanor, but everyone calls me Ms. Cookie. I’m originally from Brooklyn, New York, and I’m very close with my daughter and my grandson. Family is extremely important to me, and we enjoy spending time together whenever we can. Now that I’m retired, I love traveling and experiencing different parts of the world with my family. We enjoy making new memories, meeting new people, and learning about different cultures. Hosting international students is something I truly enjoy because it allows us to share our home while also learning about the traditions and experiences of others. Many students say staying with Ms. Cookie feels like having a caring home away from home, where they are welcomed, supported, and treated like part of the family.
