About me

Hello, We open our arms and hearts for you to be part of the family. We look forward to the opportunity for all of us to get to know each other better as well as learn more about each of our cultures. We're a family of 5 living in this in the household - my parents (Virginia and Sosimo Garces), myself (Jayson Garces), our family friend (Edwin), and our 5 yr old border collie (Milo). We also have 2 international students from Japan that we are currently hosting (Michiga Imai and Kakeru Soto which are both ICC students that both go to Bellevue College). We live in South Seattle which is a close commute to Seattle Central College. When you arrive, we can show you how to use the train to get to school or locations for internships for we live really close to the one of the train stations (Othello Station). Were open and we'd love to get to know you more and know more about each cultures through tradition and food. We love food and love to cook. Were open and diverse to cooking any kind of food like Korean BBQ (chicken, beef, fish, and vegetables), have Filipino food, Japanese food, Mexican food(tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and nachos) American food(burgers, pasta, steak, and pizza), and Mediterranean food (shawarma, falafel, and tomato cucumber salad). We love to do a lot of outdoor activities like hiking, rock climbing, fishing, snowboarding, riding bicycles, and touring around Seattle. We also love to play basketball, play billiards, bowling, go swimming, and play board games like monopoly and connecting puzzles. I would describe our family as a reliable and caring people, who tries to make the best out of every situation and include everybody. We like spending time with friends and family which is very important to us. Were also very family oriented. Always trying to help and were always here for each other if anybody needs help. I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and everybody.
