About me

Hello houseguest, I look forward to welcoming you and making you feel at home. I have hosted many students, professionals and others over the years and love the diversity that comes through my door. Once I learn about your interests, I will do my best to connect you with people, organizations, groups and clubs with similar interests. Three of our largest outdoor clubs are 1.5 miles from our house. You can walk or bike there on the running trail or take the bus – 5 min. Seattle is known for its live music scene e.g. nirvana, Jimi Hendrix and many more have their roots here. Of course you know about our tech reputation. Microsoft's founder bill gates grew up in a house very close to where we are. I used the same mainframe computer that bill and Paul Allen used at the U of Washington, where i earned my Ph.D. So much to tell you – just come on over and don’t be shy. Very active, healthy, civically engaged, community volunteer, loves music, cooking, organic gardening, carpentry, home maintenance.
