About me
Welcome to our home. We look forward to meeting you and learning more about you. There is so much we would like to share with you. Our goal is to make your visit a fun and exciting one. We have five rooms and plenty of space for students to feel loved and taken care of in our home! Each of the rooms has bunk beds and adequate space for six students. We also have a bathroom schedule designed to allow the students to all be able to get ready for the day! We love to go the extra mile with our elaborate meals to allow our students to be well-fed and energized for during their stay! My four daughters will be cooking meals for all of our students and my son-in-law will be barbequing in our large backyard. We have plenty of tables set up on our large beautiful patio outside for our students to eat. We want this to be a welcoming home environment, not a dorm environment. We are a fun and loving family. My name is Diane Avendano and my husband is Daniel. We have four wonderful daughters. Our eldest daughter Raquel received her Doctorate Degree with one son (Matt). Our daughter Marissa works for the Dept of Homeland Security, Immigration and has a 6-year old daughter currently in Ballet and continuously auditions for commercials etc. Our third daughter Shannon has two daughters (Abigail and Shiloh) that are very fun to be around. Our fourth daughter Hannah is a second-grade teacher always there to help her nieces. We have two homes, one in Fullerton and one in Placentia. My husband and I are retired so it's easy for us to manage both homes. We cook nightly meals and breakfast every day for our students. We also have a cook who will make Chinese food upon request without an additional charge! While me and my husband are the hosts, our daughter and her husband live in the Placentia home and can make sure all students follow the rules. We make sure to visit every day in order to give rides and cook all meals.
