About me

Hello and Welcome: Our family is very excited to meet you and help you adjust to the American Culture. We are looking forward to helping you make your time in America memorable. While you stay with us, I want you to know that we understand how difficult it might be to stay away from your parents, friends, and culture since each of us had our own experience coming from a place that is not our own. We want you to feel comfortable and help you learn as much as you can about the American lifestyle. We are looking forward to share outgoing activities with you and feel free to ask any questions you may have about American culture. We are a small family of three. Our son is attending Santa Monica Community College and works part-time for the City of El Segundo as a pool lifeguard and swim instructor. We also have our 15-year-old dog, Linda, and our 1-year-old cat, Kenny. They are very sweet and welcoming. My husband and I work for a community college in Santa Monica. I work on the administrative side, and he is a professor and a barber, occasionally attending to his clients in our garage.
