About me

Hello and welcome! I am very happy to have the opportunity to host you while you study here in Virginia. I have been hosting students for many years, and it has always been a wonderful experience for me. I have many great memories with past students, and they often tell me that they felt comfortable and at home during their stay. I am an easygoing and friendly person, and I enjoy getting to know students from different cultures. I live alone in the house since my two children are now adults and live on their own, so the home is usually quiet, clean, and well organized. I am always happy to answer any questions you may have and help you become familiar with the area. In my free time, I enjoy walking, taking short road trips in the summer to explore new places, and trying different cuisines. I recently started learning how to paint, and I am really enjoying it and hope to spend more time painting. I look forward to welcoming you and hope you will feel at home here.
