About me

Hello and welcome! My name is Monina, and I am a homestay host based in Seattle. I truly enjoy opening my home to students from different cultures and backgrounds and strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment where guests can feel at ease and supported during their stay. I work in research administration and keep a fairly steady weekday routine, which helps maintain a calm and organized household. I understand that moving to a new country can be both exciting and challenging, and I do my best to be patient, approachable, and considerate of each guest’s needs and privacy. My home is clean, quiet, and non-smoking, and I value kindness, open communication, and mutual respect. I aim to create a welcoming space where students—especially those traveling from abroad—can settle in comfortably, focus on their studies, and feel at home while in Seattle. I would be honored to host international students and help make their transition to life in the U.S. a positive and reassuring experience.
