My husband Patrick and I have hosted many students from all over the world. We love to learn about their country traditions and their families. For me cooking is a passion and I find joy in sharing my dishes and learning to make the cuisine of students's home countries. We have a photography and video business that creates imagery for advertising, marketing and capabilities for businesses. We are adventurous and love exploring our beautiful mountains and waterways for hiking and camping. We both ride motorcycles, mine is an Indian Scout while Patrick rides a Harley-Davidson Sturgis Dyna Glide. We have traveled the world extensively.

About the household
Our home is a mid century modern style with 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are available to students. Students share 1 bathroom, we have our own in a lower level. Nearby is the lovely Carkeek Park with trails throughout that lead to the Puget Sound salt water beach. We are near several bus lines and the train line is not far. Cafes and restaurants are nearby as is a grocery store.

We invite you to take part in our home activities as much or as little as you like. Students are responsible for keeping their own rooms clean and taking part in basic upkeep of the home such as taking out garbage and recycles when needed. After bedtime around 10 or 11 pm respect the quiet hour, flexible. Students may have 1-2 friends over to visit. If you plan to have more please let us know before. We are flexible. We want you to feel comfortable in our home. If you have questions just ask.
